"How long will it take?" is the second question every customer asks (right after the price). Because our cabins are prefabricated, the honest answer is: much less time than you'd expect. Here's a realistic timeline based on our installations across Ireland.
Week-by-Week Overview
- Weeks 1–2 — Design & Order: We finalise your model, options and finishes, and confirm the specification.
- Weeks 3–6 — Production: Your cabin's panels are precision-manufactured from Nordic pine under factory conditions.
- Week 6 — Groundworks: In parallel, the foundation is prepared on your site — a level base is essential.
- Weeks 7–8 — Assembly: Our crew erects the structure, roof and joinery. A garden cabin takes days; a family home takes a few weeks.
- Weeks 8–10 — Finishing & Handover: Services, insulation and internal finishes are completed, followed by quality checks.
What Can Affect the Schedule
Planning permission (where required), site access for deliveries, and connection of utilities are the usual variables. Weather rarely stops us — panel assembly is designed to be quick precisely so Irish rain doesn't get a vote.
