A log cabin is the most direct way to add real, solid-timber space to your property: the interlocking Nordic logs are the structure and the finish in one, so walls go up in days and the natural timber is visible inside and out. From a 20 m² garden studio to a 135 m² two-storey family home, every model in our collection is engineered for Irish weather.
The standard build includes 100–150 mm floor insulation, 100–200 mm mineral-wool roof insulation, galvanised tile-effect steel roofing, custom-fit gutters and double-glazed timber joinery. Choose the shell version and finish it yourself, or the turnkey version with first-fix plumbing, bathroom fittings and a full electrical panel.

What is the difference between a log cabin and a timber frame building?
A log cabin's walls are solid, interlocking timber logs — structure and finish in one — which makes it the fastest and most economical route to a finished building. A timber frame building uses a structural skeleton filled with insulation and clad separately, which suits permanent residential builds. We build both; our log walls range from 44 to 70 mm with optional insulation kits.
How long do log cabins last in the Irish climate?
Decades. Slow-grown Nordic timber has a high resin content that naturally resists moisture and decay, and every cabin gets factory treatment, galvanised steel roofing and custom-fit gutters. With basic maintenance — refreshing the surface treatment every few years — a quality log cabin outlives many conventional garden buildings. Ours carry a 10-year structural warranty.
